On Lyme Research Agenda

Our first substantial long-term project is the current FaceWall aimed to make Lyme human and to show how many people actually have it. From this living database the average number is deducted how long it takes people to get a proper diagnose. This is shown on the homepage.

This is followed by a more indepth survey, that delves into the myriad of issues that people with Lyme need to deal with: issues concerning health, finding a proper test, getting effective treatments, financial and legal issues and so on.

Finally we are working on a proposal and financing of a research project to create a valid Lyme test. One that can actualy find the Borrelia instead of meaningless anti-bodies.

The average time it takes to get a proper Lyme diagnosis = 18.7 YEARS
